Basic Teleprompter is a tool for reading a script while you look at the camera. Use it for anything lawful. What you write and record is yours — we never receive a copy — and you are responsible for it.
By downloading or using Basic Teleprompter (the “Application”), published by The Playmakers (the “Service Provider”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Scripts you write and videos you record belong entirely to you. We claim no rights over them and never receive a copy, because the Application has no server and uploads nothing.
You are responsible for what you record and for holding the rights to any script you paste into the Application.
Recordings live on your device. If the device is lost, reset, or the Application is uninstalled, copies held only by the Application go with it. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
The Application needs camera and microphone access to record, and writes finished recordings to your device gallery. You may revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; recording will then stop working.
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a recording will succeed on every device or in every condition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Application, including lost recordings, lost time or missed opportunities.
The Application may be updated, changed or withdrawn at any time. Some updates may require a minimum operating system version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
